Please join me in Virginia City this December 9, 10, and 11 for the first of what I hope will become a bi-annual writing retreat! We will stay at the beautiful St. Mary's Art Center, a National Historical Landmark built in 1875, for the three day, two night event.
Joining us for this inaugural event is Literary Agent Timothy Travaglini from Transatlantic Agency in New York. Mr. Travaglini represents a wide variety of genres in Adult Fiction, Children's Fiction, and Nonfiction.
The event price includes your stay at the venue, and I will be teaching two half-hour courses covering "Common Writing Mistakes," and "Show, Don't Tell."
Timothy Travaglini (who is currently closed to submissions) has agreed to accept queries from those who attend this conference. You'll receive details on how to submit before we conclude on Sunday afternoon.
Not only will you have precious, uninterrupted writing time, but the invaluable information you'll receive at the event will undoubtedly help you tighten up your manuscript.
You will be responsible for your own meals, but there are many amazing restaurants to visit in Virginia City, as well as a large refrigerator and full kitchen onsite if you prefer to bring your own.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me here.
